Scenes from New Forest Ambles - Two

During the last couple of weeks the tree foliage has become incredibly dense.

A green explosion of leaf and blossom.

Paths that I used to be able to spot in the distance now lost amongst darkening tunnels, as the tree crowns spread intermingling, reaching into the sunlight. Their lower foliage cut off suddenly.

Loew growth curtailed by the reach of deer and pony who took advantage of green shoots, a tasty snack in lean times, earlier this spring.
