Monster Attack!

After 3 nights on the fells a temporary return to "civilization" for a wash n brush up.

JH 1; Ticks 1; Midges - several thousand.

Midges win on extra time.

Thank god for tick removal tweezers and oodles of Germolene.

It's far too hot in town so back to the fells again tomorrow night, and probably for the rest of the stay.

This is the Lakes? Where it rains? Isn't it?
