Dear Diary: A final thought

And next ..... the debrief ......well next post.
I can't resist this final picture, probably the most atmospheric one of my trip, despite the water on the camera lense.
(edit - Silly me. It's not water, just the reflection of light on the tent pegs)

Labels: Lake District, walks

BG - and it felt like it as well. What I thought was rain on the lense is actually light glinting off the tent pegs
WD - I doubt the tarp would have survived for long, the ground was largely slate and the pegging had to be very carefully done to keep it upright, which is where the pole helpded out. A very weird pitch
