Garmin Geko 101 GPS
I've just had a chance to play with the gear that dropped onto my door mat earlier this morning. This one's not intended for me, but as a replacement for my walking club's recently lost Garmin Etrex, orginally purchased back in 2001.
Don't suppose anyone found a bright yellow Etrex around Minehead on the S.W Coatsal Footpath about a week ago? Thought I'd better ask you never know.
I made the move to actually buy, rather than borrow, my own GPS earlier this year - a Garmin Geko 301, so I hope to post shortly on the pros and cons of these models, the pre-purchasing thoughts I went through, & the whole GPS debate in general. Labels: Gear
