Return of the Argos Pro Action Tent?
Following a tip off from an Outdoors Magic thread it looks like Argos are once more offering the Pro Action Hike Lite 1 Person Tent. That's the proper two skin version, rather than the silly garden pup tent from last year's catalogue.If it truly is the same spec as the original, much missed version from two or three years ago, then for budget entry into backpacking it will be hard to beat. I've dug out the original pixs I'd kept when I passed mine on in 2006 in case they help anyone out there with a comparison.

Bought mine for £15.99 and have looked after it. Treated it with Nikwax antiUV and always used a tyvek undersheet. It's looking good for at least another year - so far it's given me over 120 nights without any problem. I'm very pleased with it.

Without doubt one of the best cash/use purchases I've ever made.
Bought 2nd hand. Used for a couple of years. And passed on at a suitably cheap price for another w/camper to get into the buzz on the cheap
Just to let people know, at the time I'm writing this, the Pro Action Hike lite is half price from Argos (£24.44). Looking forward to many happy nights in mine!

When we unpacked our Action Tent there were no instructions. Really couldn't fathom how to the put the tent up; assumed pieces missing, ready to chuck the tent in the bin, but fortunately Googled these photos: all was clear.

These tents are in argos at the moment for 19.99! They are a fab tent but are now being sold in orange, I prefer my green one but thinking about having one anyway for a spare.
