Lake District Tarn Trip - Ready for the off
I'd guess the tarns above are not recognisable to most of you reading this. The second tarn in particular is not even named on the OS map, so no visitors there! The backpack is nearly ready awaiting the last couple of items of fresh food. The train tickets are in my wallet. The weather forecast looks poor. But hey ho, time for a long overdue return to the Lakes. A trip based around wildcamping at a number of tarn locations. This time out a journey to spend a night at remote or rarely visited spots, rather than covering distance.I'll let you know how it all went when I get back in sometime next week. Hopefully without webbed feet.Labels: Lake District
